Whats on at the Toff

Hi everyone
Here at the Toff we're all about rhythm, musicality and social dancing. We ourselves are social dancers at heart and would love to nurture the social dancer in you, so that you have the goods to go to any swing event and ask any ol' person to dance. We have an excellent venue with smooth bar staff, swanky interiors and a friendly and eclectic bunch of regular dancers. Our classes are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and if you hear something you like, we're always up for sharing our music and letting you know whos who in the jazz world.

Our class timetable until further notice is thus:
6.30 Beginners: we cover basic rhythms such as 40s charleston, 6 beat and 20s charleston
7.30 8 Beat Lindy Hop for beginners: we're teaching the 8 Beat rhythm pitched at beginners, with a focus on energy, connection and pulse
8.30 Level 2/Intermediate: We assume knowledge of charleston, 6 beat and 8 beat and begin to work through foot variations, mixing rhythms and open you up to some trickier moves that help consolidate your quality of movement through connection and pulse. 
9.30 Social dancing
