Venue diaries are back (now that the Rhythm Revue and MLX 09 is over and I've recovered)!! Hooray!
Thanks for a great night last week - and embracing some cool, crazy classes and moves. Hope you all got something out of it.
Next week is our final week before Christmas break which means MANY exciting things:
- Joel is going to graduate from his cadetship!
- There'll be SUPER fun classes in a party style night!
- I hear rumours of sweets! Particularly if you've been good - Santa's been watching ;)
- Hellzapoppin style class! WOAH. Like.... woah.
So, what to expect?
I think it is time to nail the SWINGOUT in our 8 beat rhythms... we always start from scratch in this class, so feel free to try your hand (or feet) at swing dancing at 6:45pm!! Plus there'll be some sweet moves, as always...
We've had requests to cover the Rueda silliness again, plus some other party-style moves... so be prepared for Chrissy craziness!!
Bring a spare t'shirt and a water bottle - because we are going to teach the all-famous California routine and then bust it out to some flippin' fast swing music - like Hellzapoppin' (the footage and the comp)!!! It'll be awesome.
Remember - bring some sweets. Bring some treats. And, as always - bring your sense of adventure!!
For those who need dancing over Chrissy/summer break - keep your eyes on the venue diary because lots of social dancing and festivals happen over summer (plus Em will be teaching at North Melbourne on Thursday nights for summer swing school).
