Camberwell Market This Sunday!
Camberwell (The Palace Hotel)
15 Mar 2010
Kick start your Sunday on March 14 with an excursion to the Camberwell Market. It's not often that we get an opportunity to have a dance in the morning with some great perks like caffeine a clothing nearby!
Come a join us at 11am on Sunday March 14. We'll be in the market itself (near Bloch) swinging out for some social dancing. Feel free to bring a friend, because we're going to run a quick, free lesson at 11:15. Everyone is welcome to come and have a dance, and we may even pop into a nearby cafe for some refreshments when we're done. Please join us at 11am this Sunday at Camberwell Market for some fun outdoor dancing.
Lessons as normal this Monday - here's what's in store:
6:30 LEVEL 1 - Total beginner
It's time for some 1920s partnered Charleston. Some of you may be familiar with the flapper girls of yesteryear, and now it's time to learn how Charleston works in a partnership. Bring along a friend and discover the original Charleston!
7:30 LEVEL 2 - Collegiate Shag
Well done in your first foray into shag last week. Even though our bellies for full of cake, both Matt and I were really impressed with your energy and gusto! We're going to keep up the shag for the next few weeks to build your dancing repertoire.
8:30 LEVEL 3
We're going to continue the high energy theme tonight and introduce some hard partnered charleston. One of the comments that came through in the feedback forms was that you wanted to learn more hard charleston. Tonight, we'll kick up the tempo and advance your interpretation of charleston.
9:30 - Social Dancing
Until Sunday (at the Market!)
