We're still on the hunt for a new blues venue and some good changes are ahead for blues night.
This week we're at Etoile's Studio, upstairs 241 Smith Street, Fitzroy
(next to safeway and above a grocery store).
Classes with Mark C:
7:30pm Level 2
8:30pm Level 1
9:30pm Social dancing
Mark C has been dancing for many years & teaching for Swing Patrol for about as long! He has a unique style and has so much to offer... he's bubbling with ideas about blues. We're excited that he's teaching this week.
DJs Mike & Noni 'Healy' are spinning the tunes for you this week! Their all relaxed after a 5 week honeymoon in Europe! You'll hear a great mix of old school jazz, delta blues, Chicago blues and maybe a hint of gospel or something...
Blues dancing is an amazing way to improve you're partner dancing skills. It gives you the time to learn lead & follow, focus on the technique, find freedom in improvisation and get creative with the music.
