Revellers is one of Swing Patrol's fastest growing venues in Melbourne! There are 5 classes to choose from and kick ass social dancing every week!
Downstairs - with Kieran & Georgia
6:30pm Level 1 & 2 - Charleston Routine!
Fun & pumping routine to link together all the moves you've learn before and more! Great to help you social dance & practice. Everyone is welcome for the class, and it's option to perform at the Ball. Starting thinking about costumes ;)
7:30pm Level 1 - Side-By-Side Charleston
This rhythm, is a core part of the swing dancing puzzle! So simple to start, yet loads to unpack and tons of fun. This type of Charleston is done with your partner right next to you, and a great place to start your swing dancing!
8:30pm Social dancing to DJs till late
Upstairs - with Evan & Noni
6:30pm Level 1 - Partnered 20s charleston
This partnered rhythm is one of the grand-daddies of them all! Super simple, just tap-step, but so much more. A recent fav on the social floor, there's plenty of technique to work on, and plenty of flat out fun!
7:30pm Level 2 - Intro to Balboa
A few faces were melted last week, with plenty of complex movements - but you guys ate it up! For the next few classes we'll be looking at Balboa, a bad-ass dance from California. Come check it out, it's great cross skilling for charleston, 8 beat, and even blues!
8:30pm Level 2 & 3 - Lindy Routine
We're going to continue the Lindy-hop routine, to "You Rascal You", after last week's awesome start. Thanks for the participation in our experiments! Lot's of great moves, formations and fun! Still heeeaps of time to jump in - don't worry if you missed one!
