Join us at the fun & friendly venue. It's got a great atmosphere, a slick floor & heaps of room to dance.
Well done to all those who performed our routine! You were amazing. We can't believe how far you've come is such a short time. We're so proud :)
THIS WEEK:
This easy & fun rhythm can be seen on the social dancing floor all around the world!
Originally developed in America, the hot jazz timing of the 1920s Charleston was adapted to suit the swing jazz music of the '30s and '40s.
All you need to get social dancing. We'll build up your confidence so you can bust out on the dance floor!
We'll perfect the Lindy Hop, 6 beat, Charleston, Tandem and Shag. Plus all the fun moves & transitions that go with it. We'll also explore finding you're own style, musicality & variations.
Practice what you did in class. Maybe do the Shim Sham. Or even just hang out & chat!! ...and maybe slurpees...

DATES FOR THORNBURY
Last classes on Dec 20th. We'll have a festive celebration with social dancing, food & drinks.
Back Feb 7th!!! With a social dancing catch up excursion to Fun Pit in January.
