Join Shaz, Dave, Mike, Josh & Legend of the Year, Phil, for some super summertime dancing.
We are running 2 classes and then social dancing EVERY Thursday through Christmas and the summer holidays. No matter what, we're keeping North Melbourne dancing until Shob & Andy return in February, and you'll find all the usual northern goodness - great learning, fab music, good cheer and baking! So come along and get your swing fix with us.
It was fantastic to see so many dancers at North Melbourne last week! Level 1 got their lindy hop on and were swinging out by the end of the hour - amazing! Level 2/3 went in a new direction with some fancy walking, blending it into their 8-beat lindy hop and looking at ways to distinguish between steps and triple steps. It was inspiring to look around the class and see everyone trying things out and mixing things up.
6.30pm Level 1
BEGINNER CLASS - all welcome! This week, we continue with Lindy Hop in Level 1, whoo hoo! Learn the basics, get yourself moving and grooving, meet people, and have a ball!
7.30pm Level 2/3
Come and learn the secrets to great social dancing, improve your leading and following, and have a ball while you're doing it! We'll continue along last week's theme of fancy walking with cool stuff to mix into your 8-beat lindy hop.
8.30pm - Social Dancing
Nick and Carla are our DJs du jour - join them for great music, fab dancing and good times!
