Balboa ‘Summer School’ Classes Continue

 

Our last ‘Summer School’ Balpit class will occur on 31 January 2012 before regular Level 1, 2 & 3 classes commence on 7 Feb.  The format for the Summer School classes is as follows:

 

Usual Venue:   Tiki Lounge & Bar, 327 Swann Street, Richmond

 

Level 1/2 (Combined level Class):   7-8pm

 

Level 2/3 (Combined level Class):  8-9pm

 

Social Dancing:   9pm onwards

 

Level 1/2:

If you’re a first timer you will find this class a bit out of your league as having an understanding of the basics will be required.   The class material will be aimed at beginner & intermediate dancers  who are familiar with the fundamental balboa patterns. 

 

Tuesday L1/2 Class will focus on:  Pure-bal & Adlibs

 

Level 2/3:

Intermediate and advanced Balboa dancers can expect material that will reinforce some of the Balboa fundamentals (important at all levels) while giving students an opportunity to push themselves a little bit too...but not too much, Christmas wasn’t that long ago after all.

 

Tuesday L2/3 Class will focus on:  Macro & Micro Musicality

 

 

Lindsay and Kath will be taking the January classes.  Johnny & Denise will commence teaching from 7 February.
