North Melbourne Relaunch with Shob and Andy!

 

 

WE’RE BACK!!!!!!!!  We hope you all had a great summer and celebrated up a storm for Xmas and New Years.  We would like to give a huge thankyou to Josh, Shaz and Phil for taking such great care of Nth Melb while we were away.  We have been hearing stories of huge classes and rocking social dancing so we can’t wait to get back into it with you all

We are super inspired by a week of learning off some of the best dancers in the world at Camp oz and have lots to share.  We have been busy making plans, but as always though we would love to hear from you

NOW IS THE TIME TO SEND US YOUR SUGGESTIONS!  ANYTHING YOU WANT TO LEARN, WE WILL FIND A WAY TO BRING IT TO YOU

 

Our theme for all classes this week is to shake off the cobwebs and remember how much we just love dancing.  Good solid lindy hop all night long!

 

6-30pm: Beginners class, open to all.

 

This class is for anyone and will get your heart racing and a smile on your face.  Find out why the swing craze is sweeping the world.

 

7-30pm: Dance, dance, dance!

 

One of our biggest lessons from Camp Oz was just how much we love lindy hop.   This class is all developing great connection and dynamics for the social floor.

 

8-30pm: Cool stuff from Camp Oz

 

Learn some great material that we were lucky enough to learn from world famous french swing dancers Thomas and Alice.  Get ready for a challenge, let’s hit it hard. 

 

DJs this week: Alison B and Steve D
While Alison never DJed before, she’s a regular on the North Melbourne social floor and has a good handle on what keeps the floor swinging.  So let’s show her the North Melbourne love by packing the floor. 

 

Legend of the Week: Ged, for dancing his heart out with every follow (under the air conditioner) throughout the summer months and all year around.  And his humours 80s dance moves are second to none...sorry Andy!
