Thursday, February 9th – Take on the challenge!

 

Hey all,

Hope you're having a great week and looking forward to swinging out hard this Thursday. Sadly Shob has to work but we are thrilled to welcome Shaz back, after her awesome Summer series. We are already planning our first big live music event for the year too...so stay tuned!

Level 1: More 6 beat madness, building on last week including more footwork challenges.

Level 2: How many ways can you texas tommy? We take this classic swing move as a base and show how to break it down and rebuild it in multiple different ways. Great lead/follow practice for the social floor.

Level 3: "Cool stuff in 4 beats". After a great session of Ninjammerz chorey last week, we worked on the challenging 4 beat tuck turn. We are going to work on the important technique points that help you generate explosive power in your dancing...and then see what other stuff we can do in 4 beats!

Shob will be back next week and is already cooking up some new challenges for you...

Don't forget, great social dancing kicks off at 9:30 with DJs Hutch and Cinnamon!!!

Oh...and one more thing!!!

Aerials are a hugely exciting and fun part of swing dancing. Whether you know some aerials or you have never been in the air before, you can be part of this up and coming workshop. Come and chat to us if have any questions or anxieties...believe me I have been there! We will have step by step instruction and spotting to keep you safe. Doing your first aerial is a huge thrill you won't forget!
