Melbourne’s blues weekend is back! This long weekend will be filled with workshops, swing & blues dancing, and LIVE music!! This year there are 3 levels for the workshops with our Auzzie teachers, Shob & Andy and Noni & Evan and Tom Fraiser. This is a great opportunity to get the most out of classes for your particular standard.

Level 1: Great for lindy-hoppers who have never done blues, people who have come to a few level 1 classes at blues night or total beginner dancers. This level will give you a great foundation to your blues dancing through body movement, connection & creativity.
Level 2: You've been social dancing blues about a year or more & are hooked! This class will start by refining your basic skills then move towards more advanced ideas & moves.
Level Advanced: You've been social dancing blues for ages! You travel interstate to dance blues and wouldn't miss a blues night for anything! You're ready for a challenge! You have great body awareness & isolation. Maybe you have taught a blues night or a taster class and you're ready for some new inspiration & are willing to step outside you're comfort zone.
Solo Blues Routine: All levels welcome. Separate routines for Leads and Follows focusing on solo movement and blues/jazz steps. This will help your partnered dancing beyond belief!!!

Can I do one day of workshops?
No. The workshop pass includes one day of partnered dancing and the solo blues routine class.
Can I turn up on the day, unregistered for the workshops?
To be sure to get a place, register your pass. If you turn up at the door, spaces are limited, you could be turned away.
Can I turn up to the social events without a social pass?
Yes. All events will sell tickets at the door. It is cheaper to get a social pass if you’re thinking of going to most things.
