Join us at the spectacular Malvern Town Hall and enjoy a night of performance and fabulous swing dancing.
There will be floorshows to make you cheer and shout out loud and social dancing galore to satisfy fidgety feet itching to hit the floor.

The Performance Ball is your night of nights! It’s your time to take the spotlight and be a performing swing dancing diva, dynamo and megastar! There will be 2-3 sets of performances and the rest of the night will be dedicated to social dancing, lots of social dancing!
We always have so many people who have never performed before, are nervous, and rise to the challenge of performing for their peers. Be assured there is no audience like a swing dancing audience and you will be supported and cheered as we all know the nerves that get to us sometimes on a night such as this.
The order of routines will be posted closer to the night. If you are performing in more than one routine we cannot necessarily provide for everyone's costume changes. Please practice the art of the quick-change and Claudia can s-t-r-e-t-c-h an introduction on the night if needed!

Can we BYO drinks and food?
NO...there will be a full bar on site, which will also provide snacks. We suggest that you eat a meal before you come if you need something substantial.
I’m not a dancer…can I still come along?
Yes! Come along and support all of our awesome dancers as they put on their best performance smiles!! There is nothing like performing to those we love, so the more the merrier. It’s a great night for your non-swing friends to be involved and you never know, they may get itchy feet for a dance!
Will there be a lesson beforehand?
Yes. We'll do a half hour intro lesson on the night for our guests to see what this swing thing is all about! It’s a fun taster class and they’ll gain full appreciation of your dancing efforts!
I'm performing, Do I need to purchase a ticket?
Yes, everyone needs a ticket to get in.
Can I get a ticket at the door?
Yes, but we advise you to pre-book.
What do I need to wear?
What you wear on the night is totally up to you. Most venues will have a 'costume' if you are performing. So make sure to listen to your teachers about what you need to wear on the night. There are toilets in the venue for quick costume changes and small areas to practice your routine and settle those pre-performance jitters!
Will there be lots of room to sit down?
There will be seating but it will be limited. There is no reserved seating and it’s simply a case of first in... first seated!
Will there be an after party?
Absolutely!! Forever dance is the place to be after the ball. Check out the details below
