Blues dancing is the one of Melbourne’s great passions. It's a slower dance that will have you moving to the music and exploring partner connection in a new exhilarating way. Noni Clarke is the organizer of the night and is one of the world’s leading blues dancers. With her international experience and the variety of amazing guest teachers, DJs and live music blues night is one of the best social dancing nights in town!

First Floor 1/393 Brunswick St, Fitzroy 9.30pm Every Wednesday night Social Dancing All welcome. $6 for social dancing only (or $10-$15 for band nights)

"Where can I dance to a live band?" We get that question alot. So through 2012 we're having more live bands at our regular weekly social nights.

There is nothing like dancing to live swinging jazz music! We're offering more opportunities to dance to a live band and some of our class venues are just perfect for live music and dancing. Whilst never becoming a weekly thing, it's great to diversify our nights, have live music from time to time and do something a bit different.

The bands vary from amateur to professional and reflect all styles of swing. Let's dance!

Do I need to pay for social if I've done a class?
Yes, on band nights everyone pays to enjoy the special night with the band.

Can I do 2 classes on the one night?
Yes, if you do 2 classes at the same venue on the same night you get the 2nd class for half price. If there is a band playing and you stay, then you need to pay for social in full.

Is there a different dress code when the band is on?
Generally no. Just come and dance!

Do we need to pre-book?
No.
