Here for the first time? Have a look through the red menu banner above for Classes, Workshops, Social Dancing and the Events for the year. The best thing to do is just come to a class. No partner required nor particular footwear or clothing. You cannot book or register. Just check the timetable and turn up to a L1 class that suits and we'll get you DANCING! If you have more questions check out the FAQ. The Lindy Hop is back and the above venues all have classes pitched at beginner level. Melbourne is famous for its festivals and summer brings out some of our favourites. We love getting out in the sunshine for a dance and to show the city this thing called swing. Check out where we are dancing through the summertime and join us for a grand day out!

Class Cost Rising but Still Great Value

For the last few years we've managed to keep the casual class attendance cost at $14 despite rising rentals and the GFC. Note that from July 1st 2010 the cost for classes will rise by the vast sum or $1 to $15 per person for a class. Think of it as 15 minutes parking, a third of a coffee or one tooth (wow, the tooth fairy has increased since my day!) For details click here.

Details:
• $1 increase from July 1st 2010 taking class cost to $15 per person
• Two classes taken in one night at one venue will cost $22
• Three classes taken in one night at one venue (happens sometimes) will cost $30
• Class Discount Cards will NOT change in price, giving greater value for money and incentive to buy in bulk.
• Most privately run casual leisure classes charge between $15-$20 per session. We believe $15 to learn a wonderful skill is still at the lower end of what is generally charged.
• We hope we're giving you enough preparation and notice for the price change.
