Erin Piggott
Erin is our young super star that started dancing with Swing Patrol at the age of 12. Erin started as a student at Frankston and has now danced through the Melbourne troupe system and was a regular feature at gigs all over town as a member of Harlem Shout. Erin is known for her whacky sense of humour, her infectious smile and was part of the heartbeat of swing dancing on the Peninsula with her wonderful teaching partners Joe and Joel. Now, Erin has found her way to London to set out on the adventure of a lifetime.
In June 2009 Erin toured Europe dancing at big events such as Swing Crash Italy & Highland Swing Scotland. Erin also had some guest teaching spots at Swing Patrol Brick Lane, Swing Patrol Fulham and taught a fabulous Gospel Jazz session which the Londoners loved! Here's some feedback from a London dancer:
"It was great to learn the gospel routine with Erin. She was fantastic and I loved that she gave out notes on the routine!! Super helpful. I brought my 5 year old daughter to watch and after the teaching was over, she latched onto Erin for some dancing (jumping around). Bless Erin! "
