Laura Perriam

Laura is a (kind of) lawyer who really loves breakfast and sunny days
and dancing in all its forms. As a classically trained dancer, she
held a strong aversion to partner dancing until one fateful day in May
2006 when a friend managed to convince her to come along to a Swing
Patrol blues class by telling her she would get to cuddle cute boys.
She met some of her closest friends that night and went on to take
swing dancing classes all over Melbourne and attend festivals and
exchanges in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, and Canberra.

Laura dances a lot of blues but she also really enjoys swinging out
FAST. And medium! When she grows up she wants to be Ramona. She dances
on the reg at as many social nights a week as possible, trains and
performs with Harlem Shout, competes with whoever she can convince
(sometimes she even WINS!), and still likes cuddling cute boys at
blues. You should totally ask her for a dance if you see her on the
social floor because she definitely wants to dance with you, but is
sometimes just a little too shy to ask...
