Glenn Dallafiore

Glenn’s love of dance started when he met Rachael, they played opposite each other in the stage musical Grease. They both took some jive lessons & fell in love with both the music & the dance from the 50’s. From there on the journey began in search of something new to inspire them, which led them to the Lindy hop. Back then Lindy hop classes were non existent, so the hunt for video tapes of the dance was on. Eventually international teachers bought the dance to Melbourne & they were hooked. Glenn & Rachael have travelled to Sweden (Herrang Dance Camp for 4 weeks!), London & LA to further their dance studies.
 
During their time, they have studied Rock&Roll, Boogie Woogie, Shag, Savoy Style Lindy & Hollywood style Lindy Hop. Glenn & Rachael have won competitions, performed & taught the lindyhop & even had a swing band. Performances include many festivals & corporate events, as well as every Saturday night for 10 years in a Melbourne Theatre restaurant.
 
Over a 10 year period they have taught the Lindyhop in Melbourne & QLD. In QLD they created a new swing dance scene & trained up a dance troupe with credits of winning competitions & performing at many functions.
 
Still performing every Saturday night they are also members of the Swing Patrol dance troupe Harlem Shout.  Without mentioning what actual year Glenn & Rachael started dancing, you can see there is a major addiction.
 
Glenn & Rachael just love passing on their experience & creating a fun environment during their classes.
