Jess Faggian

A trouble maker born at heart.  Jessie is often found in the midst of compromising situations and is known to cause a stir at parties (see highlights).....of course it is all part of the crazy Swing Patrol fun that makes it a crazy place.  Jess is a vibrant character which often spills over into her teaching and dancing. 

Her inspiration to dance comes from her love of great swingin' Jazz. When she isn't teaching, training or dancing, you can find her bopping away behind a DJ booth. 

Jessie teaches at South Melbourne  with Xavier and her goal is to capture the essence of the Whitey's Lindy Hoppers and she is determined to pay tribute to the old timers by trying to keep the roots of Lindy Hop alive.  Although she has many different passions, Jessie gets particularly excited about 'The father of Lindy Hop - Charleston', fast dancing and aerials.  Despite a shoulder injury, this lady loves to fly and spends what little free time she has, desperately trying to devise new left handed aerials!

Jessie became really well known in Sydney two years ago when she placed second with Josh in a big crazy rock & roll competition and won $5,000. The competition was mainly looking for aerials and Josh & Jess took on the rockers and delivered (do not hunt down the footage....please!).

Jessie is thrilled to be part of the Swing Patrol teaching team and counts herself lucky to be teaching alongside such a friendly and talented bunch of people.
