Collegiate Shag intermediate workshop

Flying Feet – Intermediate Collegiate Shag workshop

Take your Shag to the next level!

Ride the wave of the Collegiate Shag resurgence and further develop your Shag dancing skills in a workshop for those who already love this fun swing dance.
If you enjoyed the Flying Feet workshop earlier this year, or have learned the basics and are ready to take your Shag to the next level, this is for you.
If you’ve got a handle on the fundamentals of Collegiate Shag – the basic rhythms in closed, open and side by side positions, leading/following turns, a few break steps and musicality – then you’re ready to step up for this workshop.
Nial Bruce and Annabelle Hale are Melbourne’s best Collegiate Shag teachers and you will want to work with them to advance your dancing.

Annabelle Hale and Nial Bruce have been dancing shag since they started learning swing dancing. After their first lessons, their dance hobby slowly became a dance obsession that has lead them to competing with great results at Australian Jitterbug Championships and Australian Shag Camp, as well as learning from some of the greatest shag dancers the world has to offer. Annabelle and Nial are excited to share this dance they love in the hopes we will see more shag dancers out on the social floor.
